Execution & Technical Scope
TESPL executed four HDD shore approach drives for the Formosa 2 offshore wind project in Taiwan, as specialist subcontractor to Jan De Nul. The four drives totalled 2,155 metres, with individual drive lengths ranging from 509 to 612 metres, installing 500mm OD HDPE SDR11 pipe for offshore wind export cable landfall. The work was carried out in soft ground with gravels. TESPL was responsible for HDD operations and pipe welding — including golden joint welding with in-duct camera records and test joints. Marine assets were supplied by the client.
